Each year, Members of Congress hold contests within their districts to choose winning pieces of art by high school students to be displayed in the Cannon Tunnel of the U.S. Capitol Building in Washington, DC. This impressive art exhibit brightens the Capitol and showcases the talent of our nation’s young people.

This year, the 10th District's winner is Elias Azara of Lake Forest.  A 2010 graduate from Lake Forest High School, his work is titled "First Supper".  Elias began working as an artist in high school, when his art teacher saw that he had true talent.  Elias has enrolled at the American Academy of Art in Chicago, where he will pursue studies in art.
