November 14, 2008: Local Hoosier Participates in Congressional Page Program

WASHINGTON - A local high school student is getting a close look at the inner workings of Congress. Evan James Kolb, a Boonville High School student, is serving as a Congressional page in Washington, DC this fall. Pages play an important role in Congressional business: acting as couriers, delivering messages to Members of Congress, and performing other duties. Rep. Brad Ellsworth sponsored Kolb's appointment and commended him on his service to Congress and the country.
