This site at the Office of the Clerk of the House provides timely information on the current action on the floor of the United States House of Representatives. You can view summaries of the floor proceedings for the current day as well as the previous seven legislative days.
This site provides a list of House Committee and Subcommittee meetings, including hearings and legislative markups at which bills are considered and amended prior to being considered on the House floor.
The current legislative calendar provides the planned legislative schedule on a month-by-month basis when the House will be in session and votes will be cast.
The THOMAS legislative search engine was created at the beginning of the 104th Congress to make federal legislative information more widely available to everyone. The site includes links to bills, resolutions, the Congressional Record, committee information, and legislative schedules.
You can also use THOMAS to search the Congressional Record, which is the official record of the proceedings and debates of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate.
Roll call votes, in which every Member's vote is recorded, are compiled by electronic voting machine by staff of the Office of the Clerk. You can find this session’s roll call votes here, or click here for an archive of roll call votes back as far as 1989.

For each bill, you can read the bill summary and status, the text of the legislation, other co-sponsors, detailed legislative history, and references to the bill or resolution in the Congressional Record.
