LINDER STATEMENT ON AUTO BAILOUT
Washington, D.C. – Today, in response to the proposed bailout for the automobile industry, Congressman John Linder (GA-07) issued the following statement: “We must not pick and choose the sectors of our economy to help when they are hurting; our current pain is universal. Instead of voting to assist automakers exclusively, Congress and the Administration must work to implement solutions that will encourage productivity and innovation, and remove the stranglehold of the Federal government by ending the burdensome taxation and over regulation of American businesses.” ...
