Congressman Yarmuth Announces $610,000 for UofL


Federal Funding to Oral and Neurological Diseases


(Washington, DC) Today, Congressman John Yarmuth (KY-3) announced that University of Louisville has been awarded two grants totaling $610,870 from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The first grant awards $287,120 to UofL for study into oral diseases and disorders.  The second grant devotes $323,750 to UofL’s clinical research into Neurological disorders.

“The research record at the University of Louisville continues to turn heads nationwide," Congressman Yarmuth said.  "By choosing UofL as the recipient of funding for medical and dental research, Health and Human Services can be confident that strides will be made by world-class researchers at first-rate facilities.”
