What technology will be a highlight of the new U.S.S. New Mexico`s capabilities?	December 13, 2004

The newly announced U.S.S. New Mexico will be the fifth Virginia class submarine. The subs include new technologies and capabilities, and among the most important is the ability to operate close to shore and in shallow water better than previous submarines.
