Graves Announces Grant for Polk Township
 

(Washington, D.C) U.S. Congressman Sam Graves announced that the Department of Commerce’s Economic Development Administration has awarded a $261,000 grant to Polk Township in Nodaway County. The funds will be used for the roadway improvements leading to the Maryville Industrial Development Corporation Industrial Park.

 

“This is a critical investment in our community,” said Graves. “Government should be a partner, not an obstacle, to economic growth. By working together, we were able to move this project forward to bring jobs and economic development to Nodaway County.”

 

The project is expected to create 35 jobs and help drive economic growth in the region.
