Planning a trip to DC? September 25, 2003

White House Offices: Who does what? And where?
Virtual Tour: Wanna get a lay of the land before you go?

Gearing up for a trip to Washington, D.C.? Heather can help. TOUR UPDATE: White House tours are booked through mid-June. Currently, we are continuing to book White House tours for July through September. Tours of the U.S. Capitol remain available. We recently announced that White House tours have reopened. But don’t take a White House tour for granted. Call us as many weeks in advance as possible for a chance at joining a White House tour. Please read this White House Tours Fact Sheet before planning your trip. Washington, D.C. can be the trip of a lifetime, but you don’t want it full of unwanted down time. Heightened security won’t be a problem to you if you know the facts before you get out the maps. For a tour of the Capitol building, call our office. Capitol tours are available year-round. There’s a lot to do here, from museums and monuments, to amusement parks and athletics. And Heather`s office is glad to help anyway we can. So take a look and enjoy the sights! We look forward to seeing you soon in our nation’s historic capital city.

The White House, in Washington, D.C., is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United States. The White House contains 132 rooms, but only 5 of these—the Blue Room, East Room, Green Room, Red Room, and State Dining Room—are open to public visitation.
