Happy Holidays! AnyServiceMember.Org is proud to announce that for a second year we have partnered with SoldiersRadio.Com to provide a way for you to let you tell military service members worldwide that you care and are thinking about them during the holidays.
SoldiersRadio.com is the Internet offshoot of Soldiers Radio and Television. In addition to the latest Army News, SoldiersRadio.com also broadcasts both Air Force and Navy News.

From forwarded based locations that have existed since the end of World War II, to the front lines on the War against Terrorism, your Audio Postcard holiday greeting will be heard wherever America`s Armed Forces are serving during this holiday season.
You can submit your holiday greeting by calling the Audio Postcard Line at 1-(800) 330-5090.
When you call the Audio Postcard Line, you will hear this message:
"Thank you for calling Soldiers Radio Audio Postcard Line. At the sound of the tone you will have 30 seconds to record an audio postcard to military service members around the world."
After you have recorded your greeting, stay on the phone and wait for the recording time to end. You`ll automatically be given an opportunity to listen to your message and re-record it if necessary. The options you`ll hear will be:
To listen to your recording, press 1.
To re-record (your message), press 2.
If you are satisfied with your recording, press 3.
Question: What happens to my Audio Postcard holiday greeting after it has been recorded?
Answer: Your recorded Audio Postcard holiday greeting will be converted into an audio file (*.wav) and sent to SoldiersRadio.com. It will then be transferred into the playlist and used as a drop-in dedication within SoldiersRadio.com`s music programming, and aired throughout the holiday season.
1. Prepare your greeting ahead of time. Something like:
"This is Lisa Smith from Albuquerque, New Mexico and I want to wish (my husband Jimmy; all the men and women of the 720th Transportation Company, etc.; from Fort Bliss; everyone in Iraq, etc...) a happy holiday season. I love you and I`m thinking about you. Stay Safe."
2. Find a quiet spot from which to place your call and record your message. This is very important. You don`t want background noise (road traffic, loud TV, etc.) getting picked up, spoiling your message and making it unusable.
3. Pause for just a moment after the tone and then begin your message.
4. You have :30 seconds to record your message, but the best messages are between :10 and :15 seconds long.
5. Call as many times as you like, but please avoid repeating the same message to the same person over and over.
6. Keep personal politics and religion out of the message. Saying "we`re all praying for your safe return..." is fine. Encouraging others to change their beliefs or being critical of certain political thoughts is not. Remember that not everyone believes the same things.
7. Your messages may be as personal, or as generic, as you`d like.
Note: The cut-off date for sending Audio Post Cards is December 17th. This is to ensure that there`s adequate time to incorporate the messages into the programming before Christmas.
