I go out to the VA hospital several times a year. Most of the time it is just to visit patients or see a particular program. A month ago, I went out to meet with George Marnell and his staff at the medical center to ask some detailed questions about the care for returning Iraq and Afghanistan vets... There are things we do in the Congress, the VA and the military to make sure that funding is there are the programs are run well. But something else was missing that is larger and more local than... |
