The Pentagon

Tour Summary: The Pentagon is one of the world’s largest office buildings and houses the headquarters for the Department of Defense. Despite 17.5 miles of corridors it takes only seven minutes to walk between any two points in the building. The tour is led by military personnel.
Closest Metro Stops: Pentagon (Blue and Yellow lines). There is no public parking at the Pentagon.
Tour Length: One hour
Availability: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday through Friday (excluding federal holidays). The Pentagon Tour Office will assign the tour time.
Tour Request Deadline: At least 2 weeks before the desired date. Tours may be reserved up to 3 months in advance. When submitting a request you must provide an alternate date.
Procedures: You will be notified of your tour’s status approximately one week after the request has been submitted. If a tour request is accepted, security information (including the full name, social security number, date of birth, and city/state of birth for EACH member of the group) must be submitted to my office at least two weeks before the requested tour date. Non-US citizens will need to submit a passport number and country of origin.
Note: Adults must present photo ID for admission. No tickets are necessary.
