Wilson Statement on the Death of Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi
June 08, 2006
Washington, DC –
Congresswoman Heather Wilson, who chairs the House Subcommittee on Technical and Tactical Intelligence, today released the following statement on the death of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the Al-Qaida terrorist leader in Iraq:
“The killing of Abu Musab al-Zarqawi is a tremendous success. Our forces have cut off the head of the serpent. There will be others, but we are better off killing terrorists overseas through military force than responding to them in our streets with police and firefighters. We salute our brave service men and women today."
