Whitney Cheshire to serve in Albuquerque Congressional office
Albuquerque, NM – Congresswoman Heather Wilson announced today that she has hired Whitney Cheshire to serve as her Press Secretary in Albuquerque. Cheshire is a local communications and political consultant who has worked with elected officials and candidates from around New Mexico for over a decade. Cheshire is most recently recognized for her work as a weekly panelist on The Line, a KNME-TV political roundtable discussion airing every Friday night on Channel 5.

Whitney Cheshire has served as Press Secretary for John Sanchez for Governor and Communications Director for both the Republican Caucus of the New Mexico House of Representatives and the Bush-Cheney New Mexico re-election campaign of 2004. Cheshire has managed several political campaigns in New Mexico including Congressman Steve Pearce’s first congressional primary race in 2002. Some of her more recent clients include Albuquerque City Councilor Brad Winter, former Attorney General candidate Jim Bibb, and various members of the New Mexico House of Representatives.
