Nat'l Guard Assn. Honors Jim Saxton's Work for the Troops & Vets; Saxton one of few in House to represent Army, Navy, Air Force bases - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jim Saxton was recognized for a career of serving the "citizen soldier" by the National Guard Association of the United States (NGAUS). He was presented the award by the group's president, Brig. Gen. Stephen Koper (ret.)Wednesday night as federal lawmakers and National Guard Bureau leaders joined the NGAUS on Capitol Hill for a cake-cutting ceremony to commemorate the Guard’s 372nd birthday.

Cong. Saxton Returns to D.C.; Questions DoD's F-22 Raptor Decision - WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman Jim Saxton unexpectedly returned to Washington this week as the Speaker reconvened Congress for a rare lame duck session. Yesterday he and the House Armed Services Air and Land Forces Subcommittee held a hearing about a recent U.S. Air Force decision to limit the F-22 program in 2009.
