Service Academy Nominations

Every United States Senator has the opportunity to nominate candidates for each of the following academies: the United States Military Academy at West Point, the United States Naval Academy, the United States Air Force Academy, and the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy.

United States Senators do not nominate candidates for the Coast Guard Academy; these appointments are handled by the Academy itself.

In order to complete your application for a potential US Service Academy Nomination for the Fall of 2008, you must complete and submit the following items by the deadline of October 20, 2008:

• Complete and print a copy of the online application. If you have not used this system before, you must first create an account in the 'First Time Here' section to use this system.
• Your photo (2 1/2" x 3 1/2" preferably)
• Highest SAT/ACT Scores: SAT code number 2390, ACT code number 7160
• Official transcript(s) from high school and/or college
• Three letters of reference

Please mail in a single envelope all of these materials along with the completed application to the following address:
