Visiting Washington, D.C.

***The new Capitol Visitor Center is now open to the public. Click here for the most up to date information on this stunning new facility.***

Welcome to my page for visitors to Washington, D.C.! Our nation's capital is filled with world-class cultural, historical, and educational activities and events year round. This page is filled with helpful information and links to Washington's most popular tourist attractions.

Many of these sites require groups to schedule tours through a congressional office. My office is glad to assist Connecticut groups; but we ask that you place your Capitol tour requests at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during peak visiting months. If you would like to place a tour request please call my office at 202-224-4041.

I hope you enjoy all that Washington, D.C. has to offer. Please feel free to contact my office if you need more information.
