$1 million earmark for swimming pool in House Appropriations Committee Chairman's district


$1 Million for a Swimming Pool: Jerry Lewis At Work

Red State's review of the earmarks for swimming pools in Chairman Jerry Lewis' district reveals a pattern of pork for local swimming pools over the years.  The latest can be found in the 2007 TTHUD Appropriations Bill (Transportation, Treasury, and Housing & Urban Development), the conference report again contains $500,000.00 for renovations to the city-owned pool in Banning, California, a pool that has received earmarks in the past.
