There are no GPA requirements for the summer session. All applicants must have proof of U.S. citizenship and Congressman Levin’s sponsorship. Also, all applicants must be at least 16 years of age by the day they begin the Page program. There are no exceptions to these requirements.

How to Apply
Students who are interested should submit the following:

• Democratic Page Application (including Essay)
• Signed Student Consent Form (Requirements for Being a Page)
• Signed Declaration of "Parental Consent" Form
• 3 Letters of Recommendations from school officials, community or religious leaders.

Page Program Duties
House Pages have the unique privilege of interacting with all facets of U.S. Capitol. They serve predominantly as messengers between the house and senate, carrying documents between Members’ offices, committees and the Library of Congress. The semester Pages report to work directly after classes and continue until 4:30 or until the House adjourns for the day.

Students who are selected to serve as a Page participate for a minimum of one semester, but may be selected to stay for an additional semester.

All Pages are paid approximately $1, 500 on the last day of every month. Automatic deductions will be made for both federal and state taxes, as well as Social Security and residence hall fees. These fees consist of an initial $100 security deposit and a monthly $400 fee. The monthly fee includes five breakfasts, six lunches and five dinners per week and is automatically deducted from the Page’s salary.
