Immigration Information & Requirements


U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) was formerly known as the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). The USCIS falls under the jurisdiction of the Department of Homeland Security which was established in 2002.

USCIS is responsible for administering immigration and naturalization services, such as processing applications for entering, exiting and residing in the United States either on a temporary or permanent basis.

If your case has exceeded the estimated processing time, please complete the Privacy Act form and provide details about your situation or problem on the form. Please fax or mail the completed form to my Jacksonville office.
