Question:
I would like to obtain the military records for my deceased father, and any medals he earned while serving his country. How do I do this?
Answer:
The “next of kin” needs to write the letter of request to Congressman Crenshaw. If his wife is living, then she would need to submit and sign the request. If the wife is deceased, then a son or daugter can write and request this information. Once our office receives the information, we will contact the National Personnel Records Center.
