We hope the following list of tour sites and resources will be helpful as you plan your visit. Some tours require no reservations; others require reservations well in advance of the tour date.

Our office can assist in scheduling these tours for you. I recommend that you start planning your visit to Washington, D.C. early. Tours at many locations fill up quickly, so it is important to get your request(s) in as soon as possible. Due to high demand and space limitations at many points of interest, please understand that we cannot guarantee tickets.

Capitol
Staff-led tours of the Capitol are available for South Carolinians through my office, Monday through Friday. For security reasons, staff-led tours are for groups of 15 or less. Please make all staff-led tour requests at least two weeks in advance. For groups larger than 15 people, tours can be scheduled with the Capitol Guide Service by contacting my office. Guided group tours are offered Monday through Friday. Please make all group requests at least eight weeks in advance. Due to limited availability, please understand that I cannot guarantee that all Capitol tour requests will be fulfilled.
