For years, residents have asked for commuter rail services between Everett and Seattle. In May, Senator Murray called all the stakeholders together for a meeting in her Capitol office, where an agreement was finally reached that supports both commuter and freight rail service. This new train service means less congestion on our roads, less pollution in our air, and an easier commute for thousands of residents from Everett to Seattle.
