In order to process your intern application, please submit a cover letter indicating what office you would like to work in, resume, writing sample, two letters of recommendation, and a completed Intern Application.

Applications for the intern program may be printed from your web browser in a PDF format, requested by phone (202-224-2651) or mail.

Due to significant mail delivery delays, we request that you fax your application to (202) 224-0515.  Only complete application packages will be accepted for consideration.  Please indicate the session and specific dates that you are available to intern.

While all applicants will be considered, Montana residents are given preference. College and work experience are helpful, writing skills are essential, and a positive work attitude is required.
