Frequently asked questions

I have a charge on my Medicare Summary Notice that I do not understand. What number can I call for an explanation?

You can call Medicare at 1 800 MEDICARE (1 800 633-4227).

What are the newest changes in Tricare?

The government contracts that support Tricare beneficiaries have changed in the region that covers Wisconsin. The contracts in this region will transition from Humana Military Healthcare Services to Health Net Federal Services. This process is already under way and will conclude on November 1, 2004. Although the government contracts have changed, your benefits, costs and enrollment process will remain the same.

Tricare has not paid my most recent health care bill. Who can I call to see if it is payable and/or when it will be paid?

You can call Tricare Beneficiary Services at (877) 874-2273 (or 1-877-TRICARE). If you are appealing a claim decision, you can mail your correspondence to:
