Saratoga Springs, NY - Today, local Congresswoman
Kirsten Gillibrand announced that she will be holding a Congress At
Your Corner at the Clifton Park-Halfmoon Public Library this Saturday,
September 22, 2007 at 10am. The library is located at 475 Moe Road in
Clifton Park, NY.
Congresswoman Gillibrand will then be participating in the opening
coin toss with Bill Parcels, former head coach of the New York Giants,
New England Patriots, New York Jets and the Dallas Cowboys to open the
much anticipated Army Navy Football Game at the Saratoga High School
Football Field in Saratoga Springs. In interest of fairness,
Congresswoman Gillibrand, a member of the Armed Services Committee,
will visit both the Army and Navy sidelines.
Earlier
this year, Congresswoman Gillibrand was able to hear from constituents
with Congress At Your Corner stops in all ten counties the
Congresswoman represents. Representative Gillibrand encourages local
residents to come out to meet her and share their priorities for
Congress, opinions on important issues and requests for help with
federal agencies.
