An active member of the Subcommittee on Health, Heather has fought for more funding for the State Children Health Insurance Program, and sponsored legislation to fight and prevent Tuberculosis and Hepatitis C. Heather believes we should reduce the number of uninsured New Mexicans using a combination of public and private sector solutions.
