November 10th, 2008 - WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) today released the following statement regarding Veterans Day:

“We not only owe the men and women of our armed services our thanks, but we must also recognize the families and communities supporting their sacrifice. The courage, professionalism, dedication and high morale of our military never fails to impress me. On Veterans Day – and every day – we thank the men and women who have fought to keep us safe and free.”
