I have consistently succeeded in reducing Yucca Mountain's budget, which is one of the reasons why Nevadans have been able to keep the nuclear waste dump out of our state. However, I am concerned about the Nevadans who have and will lose their jobs as the Yucca Mountain Project fades away into history. I want to ensure that they have opportunities to find new good-paying jobs in our great state. in session, Senator Ensign and I hold a breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in the U.S. Capitol to welcome you to Washington. I enjoy these breakfasts because they give me the chance to talk with my fellow Nevadans in a comfortable and relaxed setting.
