Pryor to Discuss Economy, Receive Farm Bureau and CARTI Awards

WASHINGTON D.C. – Senator Mark Pryor today said he is looking forward to discussing the economy, agriculture and health care in Arkansas this week.
 
On Wednesday, December 3rd at 11:30 am, Pryor will discuss transportation and the economy at the Northwest Arkansas Council Annual Fall Meeting. This event will take place at the Embassy Suites Northwest Arkansas, 3303 Pinnacle Hills Parkway in Rogers, Arkansas.
 
At 1:30 pm, Pryor will meet with Dan Hendrix, President and CEO of the Arkansas World Trade Center. This event will take place at the Arkansas World Trade Center, 3300 Market Street, Suite 400 in Rogers, AR.
 
On Thursday, December 4th at 9 am, Pryor will tour the Chenal Adult Day Care Facility. This center opened in 2006 and helps families stay together by providing personal care and companionship to the elderly while caretakers work or run errands. This tour will take place at 804 Kirby Road in Little Rock, AR.
 
At 2:30 pm, Pryor will receive the “Friend of Farm Bureau” award by the Farm Bureau of Arkansas. This American Farm Bureau award is given at the end of each Congress and reflects Pryor’s support for agriculture policies that benefit Arkansas famers. This event will take place at the Hot Springs Convention Center, 134 Convention Boulevard in Hot Springs, AR.
 
On Saturday, December 6th at 6 pm, Pryor will receive the first CARTI Champion Award at the annual Tux ‘n Trees gala. Pryor is a cancer survivor and former CARTI patient. This event will take place at the State House Convention Center, 7 State House Plaza in Little Rock, AR.
