Senator Burr Meets With NC Teaching Award Recipient
On November 19, Senator Richard Burr met with Dr. Katherine Bruce, recipient of the 2008 Professor of the Year Award by the Council for the Advancement and Support of Education, and her husband, Mark Galizio, in Washington D.C. while Dr. Bruce was in town to receive her award. Dr. Bruce is the Director of the Honors Scholars Program and is a Professor of Psychology at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
