Senator Burr at the North Africa American Cemetery in Tunisia
Senaor Burr at the grave of Private First Class William S. Snead of North Carolina, who served with the 1st Field Artillery Observation Battalion. There are 187 North Carolinains buried at the North Africa American Cemetery. PFC Snead was a recipient of the Purple Heart and was posthumously awarded the Silver Star.
