  The House Rules for the 110th Congress changed the travel rules for Members, staff, and outside sponsors.  Regulations, instructions, and forms governing privately-sponsored travel taking place after March 1, 2007 are available below.  An Advisory Memorandum providing additional guidance regarding travel was released on March 14, 2007.  New versions of the forms relating to privately-sponsored travel were released September 23, 2008.

 NEW! - TRAVEL REQUESTS MUST BE SUBMITTED NO LATER THAN 14 DAYS PRIOR TO TRIP.   For further guidance, please refer to the Advisory Memorandum released September 23, 2008.

Please note:  Both the Private Sponsor Certification and the Member/Officer/Employee Traveler Forms must be filed with the Committee at the same time in order to process your request.  Be sure to keep a copy of all forms/documents you submit to the Committee.


Post-Travel

In accordance with clause 5 of House Rule 25, the forms below are to be filed with the Clerk of the House of Representatives in B-106 Cannon, within 15 days after travel is completed.
