Brownback Congratulates Butler County Community College Football Team
Grizzles win second consecutive national championship title

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Sam Brownback today congratulated the Butler County Community College football team for its win in the Top of the Mountains Bowl.
"I congratulate the Butler County Grizzles led by Coach Morrell for playing, and winning, a great game this weekend," said Brownback. "Saturday's game went into double overtime, but the Butler Grizzles refused to give up the fight. Butler County and the state of Kansas should be proud that it now has a second consecutive national championship title."
On Saturday, Butler beat Snow College 37-30 in double overtime. This game was the sixth national championship win in Butler's history.
