FLAG ORDERS

Would you like to order a flag that has been flown over the U.S. Capitol Building? The red, blue, and white American flag is the most visible symbol of the United States of America and it is recognized here and abroad as a sign of freedom and the rule of law. Americans have shared this symbol in good times and bad times through laughter and tears. Flags may be ordered from our office by completing the form below. We are happy to provide this service for all Kansans who wish to order flags or request flags to be flown over the Capitol.

Only flag requests from Kansas residents will be accepted. If you are not from Kansas, please contact the Senators from your state to request a flag. To obtain the phone number for the Senators in your state, please call my office (202) 224-6521 or click here.

Flying fee per flag: $4.05

Payment:
Please make a personal check or money order payable to the "KEEPER OF THE STATIONERY " for the amount listed above next to the flag of your choice. Payment must be received before a flag may be purchased. If you request more than one flag to be flown in different dates, please include separate checks per each flag.

Please allow five to seven weeks for delivery from the date your flag was flown. Note that my office is not responsible for flags lost in the mail.

Please note the following:

1. Flags cannot be flown on Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day.
2. Requests for personal flags to be flown can be accepted.
3. Personalized dedications are limited to 300 characters.
4. Same-day requests can only be processed for funerals and must be received in our office by 11 a.m. Eastern time.
5. Certificate corrections can be made after the flag has been received; however, the original certificate must be returned to our office before a new certificate can be mailed.
