Statement of U.S. Senator Russ Feingold Honoring the Service of Sun Prairie, Wisconsin’s Chuck Isaacson and “Homes for Our Troops” for Their Service of Injured Veterans September 15, 2008 “I had the good fortune of meeting Chuck Isaacson when he was at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington D.C. I am always humbled to be in the presence of men and women whose deep dedication to their country leads them to serve it so selflessly. Chuck’s brave service and sacrifice deserve our recognition and our thanks. I commend Homes for Our Troops and all those who volunteer their time in order to give back to veterans.” Chuck Isaacson of Sun Prairie, WI was seriously injured in a helicopter crash while courageously serving our nation in Afghanistan. Homes for Our Troops, a non-profit organization that helps build and adapt homes for seriously injured servicemembers, is building Isaacson a new home.
