These students are immersed in all aspects of the office, including constituent service, correspondence and research. Accordingly, interns are expected to have strong communications skills, be organized and work well in a team environment. Congressman Tierney’s office accepts interns for the Spring, Summer and Fall semesters each year. Preference is given to residents of the Sixth District or those attending colleges or universities within the District.
