Juan Nelson
As a Maryland native, Juan Nelson feels lucky to have been raised so close to Washington, DC, and revels in the excitement of working on Capitol Hill. “Working for the House, you never know what you’re going to get. We have the opportunity to meet so many different types of people,” said Nelson. As a financial solutions staff accountant, Nelson considers himself “a jack of all trades” due to his multi-faceted day-to-day responsibilities, which include reconciling the monthly payroll and student loan files and processing cash receipts. A globe-trotter at heart, Nelson spends free time traveling with his wife and three daughters, and is looking forward to his next adventure: a week-long cruise to the Caribbean with his wife that will include stints in the Cayman Islands and Haiti.
