For students interested in applying to one of the service academies, our office may be able to provide nominations to those who qualify. These academies include:
All candidates applying for a nomination must be citizens of the U.S. and legal residents of the Second Congressional District in Colorado. They must be at least 17 years of age and not past their 22nd birthday on July 1 of the year of admission to the academy.
Please send requests for application for nominations to my District office. Applicants should contact the office in writing anytime after April 1 in their junior year of high school. Academy applications are due by the last Friday in September and interviews will take place on the last Saturday in October.
