Buchanan to Hold Town Hall on Economy |

| Washington, DC -- Congressman Vern Buchanan today invited the public to attend a town hall meeting he will be holding this Thursday to discuss the economy and jobs. “The economy is the most important issue facing our region and the country,” Buchanan said. “We need to get the economy back on track." Buchanan said he scheduled the town meeting to give his constituents a chance to express their views on the economy. "I want to listen to the people and hear their ideas and suggestions,” he said. Buchanan's town meeting will be held from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4, 2008 in the auditorium at Manatee Community College in Lakewood Ranch. The College in located at 7131 Professional Pkwy.
