As my term serving as Idaho's Senator comes to a close, my staff and I are focused on closing my offices and guaranteeing a smooth transition to my successor, Senator-elect Jim Risch. I am no longer accepting emailed messages and any letters received through U.S. Mail will be held and passed along to Mr. Risch once he takes office.

I continue to serve as one of Idaho's United States Senators until January 2, 2009. I believe it is important to listen to and understand the views and beliefs of my fellow Idahoans so that I may properly represent Idaho on the Floor of the United States Senate. Your input will be especially important should Congress decide to meet before the end of the year to discuss new federal policies.

To communicate your views, please call my legislative office in Washington, DC, on 202-224-2752. My office will remain staffed and open to the public through December 5, 2008.
