TOPEKA, KS – Congresswoman Nancy Boyda (Kansas Second District) will host the final 2008 Academy Days in Manhattan this Thursday, October 2. The event has been moved to the Alumni Center at Kansas State University after having been previously scheduled at Manhattan High School.

The purpose of Academy Days is to make information available to high school students and their families on U.S. military academies. Representatives will be present from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London, CT. Local ROTC representatives will also be in attendance.
