FIRST STOP MONDAY, AUGUST 25 IN PITTSBURG

TOPEKA, KS – Congresswoman Nancy Boyda (Kansas Second District) has announced dates and locations for the 2008 Academy Days.

The purpose of Academy Days is to make information available to high school students and their families on U.S. military academies.

Congresswoman Nancy Boyda said, “The United States military academies provide students with impressive educational opportunities, and the opportunity to serve their country.”

Representatives will be present from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, NY, the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, MD, the U.S. Air Force Academy at Colorado Springs, CO, the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point, NY and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy at New London, CT. Local ROTC representatives will also be in attendance.
