Contained within this 14th century-style Gothic cathedral are gardens, shops and an observation gallery that offers a spectacular view of Washington. Guided tours are available.

National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception
This is the largest Roman Catholic church in the United States. Visitors come to view the beautiful architecture, chapels, and stained-glass windows. Guided tours are available by appointment only.

Washington D.C. LDS Temple
Since its completion in 1974, the Washington D.C. LDS Temple is one of the area’s best known landmarks. The grounds, Visitor Center and Christmas light display attract visitors year round.
