Each Congress (a two-year period), thousands of bills and resolutions are introduced. The Library of Congress provides a search engine, THOMAS, for navigating the legislative process. Among the options available, THOMAS allows you to:

• Search for legislation by Member or Committee;
• Search Committee Repots;
• Search the Congressional Record;
• Search Bills Sponsored by Senator Lugar; and
• Search Bills Cosponsored by Senator Lugar.

Additionally, the Senate website will walk you through the process of a bill becoming a law and you can follow Congress online via C-SPAN, including watching floor procedings and committee hearings.
