The Whip's Colloquy Summary…
On Monday, the House will meet at 12:30 p.m. for Morning Hour and 2:00 p.m. for legislative business. Votes will be postponed until 6:30 p.m.
On Tuesday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for Morning Hour and 10:00 a.m. for legislative business.
On Wednesday and Thursday the House will meet 10:00 a.m. for legislative business.
On Friday, the House will meet at 9:00 a.m. for legislative business.
Next Week's Legislative Schedule:
We will consider several bills under suspension of the Rules including a bill to address cuts in Medicare physician rates.
In addition, we expect to consider:
H.R. 5876 - Stop Child Abuse in Residential Programs for Teens; H.R. 6275 - Alternative Minimum Tax Relief Act; H.R. 3195 - ADA Restoration Act; Two Bills dealing with Michigan Indian Land Claim Settlements (H.R. 4414 and H.R. 2176); as well as Democrat "Energy" legislation that does absolutely NOTHING to help solve the Nation's energy crisis.
