May 2, 2007 HUDSON, NY – Congresswoman Kirsten Gillibrand today announced that she will hold her fifth town hall forum on Saturday, May 5 th at the Milford Town Hall in Milford, NY in Otsego County. The topic of the forum will be Rural and Economic development. Joining the Congresswoman for the forum will be several experts on economic development and the USDA who will give technical advice on growing successful small businesses and expanding our tourism industry in Otsego County. The panel will also provide information for available state and federal tax credits. In addition to discussing rural development, the Congresswoman will be on hand to report on the work of the 110th Congress, her first 100 days in office, and recent legislation the Congresswoman has proposed. All are encouraged to come out to meet the Congresswoman and ask questions regarding rural development and the important issues that affect our community.
