"Creating good paying jobs for our area is a priority of mine," said Congresswoman Gillibrand, a Member of the House Committee on Agriculture.  "These funds will provide the opportunity to build and grow businesses and organizations that will create jobs for our neighbors and improve the quality of life in Delaware County."

Earlier this year, Congresswoman Gillibrand traveled through the district and held several town hall meetings on economic development and job creation.   In August, the Congresswoman hosted an economic summit in Saratoga Springs, which drew hundreds of businesses and entrepreneurs to the all-day event.

The Rural Development Program helps fund projects from water and utility infrastructure, to economic development and job growth projects in rural communities nationwide.
