EARLY VOTING

About half the states in the United States of America, offer some form of early voting. Early voting describes any system where election rules and procedures are relaxed to allow voters to cast their ballot prior to the official Election Day. The aftermath of the 2000 presidential elections and passage of the 2002 Help America Vote Act (HAVA) spurred the spread of 23 states adopting some form of early voting.

Today, our prisons and jails are filled beyond capacity, mostly with non-violent offenders, at enormous cost to the taxpayer.
