Congressman Thompson Announces a Department of

Justice Victim Assistance Grant for the Mississippi Division of Public Safety


BOLTON, MISSISSIPPIToday, United States Representative Bennie G. Thompson (D-MS) announced that the Department of Justice Office for Victims of Crime has awarded a $3,202,000 formula grant to the Mississippi Division of Public Safety Planning.  The grant will allow local community based organizations to provide direct services to victims of crime and survivors of victims of crime.
