Washington, DC -- U.S. Rep. Ron Klein (FL-22) will participate in a number of public events throughout Florida’s 22nd Congressional district during the first two weeks of April, when Congress observes Spring recess.
During this period, Klein will host or participate in seven town hall meetings, to be held in the following cities: West Palm Beach; Davie; Plantation; Coral Springs; Ft. Lauderdale; Delray; and Lantana. During the town halls, the Congressman will give audience members an update on Congressional activities, including the progress he’s been making toward developing homeowner’s insurance reform legislation. Audience members will have the opportunity to ask Rep. Klein questions and share their concerns and ideas. The Congressman urges the public to attend the town hall meeting closest to their community. All town hall meetings are open the public.
Klein will also serve as “Principal for a Day” at a local high school, host a stem cell research discussion, and speak to a number of community groups throughout South Florida.
